Medical Costs

If you are employed then the employer will pay for the medical and all associated expenses. Before we accept that the medical will be paid for by your company it is essential that they send an invoice stating exactly what they want (e.g. chest X-ray for underground or some mine sites; drug test and/or alcohol test; back or knee assessment; blood tests - lead levels etc for some jobs)

If you are not employed that you will need to pay for the medical yourself. The costs are listed for your information. Chest X-rays are only needed for Underground assessment. Otherwise the medical is exactly the same as the above ground.

Payment is expected at the time and can be cash or credit card only (Amex, Bankcard, MasterCard, Visa). The medical will not be released until payment is complete.

Accredited Professionals

Some medicals are performed by Doctors who are not accredited for the mines. As our practice is accredited we are able to endorse the medical ONLY if it has been completed properly with all the information filled in correctly. If it hasn't, this will result in a delay until it is completed. There is a charge for this review.
