In a pre-employment medical we can provide you with a comprehensive but simple template for assessment of job suitability that can be quickly understood by H&S personnel with our without medical knowledge of any type. These findings could be discussed with the H&S people and this would ensure safer and more accurate placement on any current sites, identifying personnel that may not be suitable for heavy work, climbing etc.

It also specifically concentrates on sleepiness and poor sleep patterns, especially with shift work – the idea being that it highlights the person who may suffer from fatigue, increasing the chance of an accident at work, or driving home: an increasing occurrence at present.  Also included is a back and knee assessment to reduce the chance of employing someone with a back or knee problem before it is fully assessed.

This type of pre-screening will provide a symbiotic relationship that gives the employer a carefully-assessed idea of the fitness for duty of personnel, and how fit they are for their particular line of work - thus giving the client a much safer and fitter workforce for the future.
